Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Where do I go to check in for the conference?

Members of the conference planning committee will be at a table in the lobby of Cragun’s when you check-in to the hotel. They will provide you with your name tag and are available to answer any questions you might have.

How do I create my schedule for the conference?

Load the Guidebook app onto your device from the app store. Once you have the app open, click Download Guides at the bottom. Click Search all guides and type Minnesota School Behavioral Health Conference. This application will include all the information needed for the conference (map, schedule, session descriptions, presentation handouts, evaluations). Once you have Guidebook on your device, please identify which sessions you are interested in attending.

To register for the sessions, go to the menu bar in the upper left-hand corner.

Click on “schedule”

Review the day by day session descriptions by clicking on the date at the top of the app. Then, review the session descriptions by clicking on the session title.  If you would like to add that session to your schedule, click “+ Add to my schedule” at the bottom.

Click on “my schedule” to see the sessions you have chosen to attend.

You will need to login to your Guidebook account or create one.

How do I access session handouts and power points?

All handouts and power points will be available on the Guidebook application under the specific session. Additionally, each individual session will have its own evaluation form, so please remember to fill those out so we can ensure we’re offering the most relevant and useful content in the future.

Are any networking and/or social events included as part of the conference?

There is a Coffee and Conversation connection time being offered on Wednesday morning, an appetizer and networking event on Wednesday evening, and karaoke and/or continue connection time offered on Thursday evening. Each event will be reflected in the conference schedule on the Guidebook app. We also plan to set aside a few tables during the appetizer and networking event for folks particularly interested in meeting new folks from around the state.

How will I receive the Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from the conference?

In order to receive CEUs you must complete the overall conference evaluation, which will be sent out the last day of the conference. You will be prompted to enter your email address and should expect to receive your CEUs within two weeks of submitting your evaluation.

What is the parking situation at Cragun’s?

There is ample space for parking on-site at Cragun’s and the front desk staff will direct you to the closest spots/lots relative to your hotel room.

Are there vegetarian meal options?

All meals will have a non-meat option available. If you have more specific dietary restrictions, such as gluten-free or vegan, please indicate your dietary needs on the registration form.

Are snacks offered between meals during the conference?

In the interest of keeping overall conference costs down, there will not be snacks offered this year. However, there are snacks available for purchase in the hotel gift shop and each hotel room has its own refrigerator and microwave if you want to bring your own snacks from home. We appreciate your understanding!

What if I need mobility accommodations?

There are spots on the ground floor and/or close to the elevators, which you can request by contacting Cragun’s directly at (866) 988-0562.
