The Resettlement Programs Office provides state-funded services to help new Americans meet their basic needs as they navigate the complex processes required to live and work in Minnesota.

Minnesota's Immigration Legal Services Hub is a group of five organizations that work together to expand legal services in Minnesota by hosting legal clinics and outreach events, creating educational materials and sharing expertise:

Immigration Legal Services Capacity Building providers increase the availability of immigration legal services across Minnesota, make it easier to access legal services and support new Americans working to get or keep employment authorization:

Social Services Access Hubs

Social Services Access Hubs across the state help new Americans working to get or keep employment authorization. They help people find services for housing, work, school, health care, legal matters and community support through local organizations and partnerships:

  • Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio (CLUES) provides culturally responsive, person-centered services—in person and virtually—connecting new Americans to housing, healthcare, food, education, employment, legal services and other essential resources. Services also include food access through community distribution events, as well as connections to English language learning, financial empowerment and workforce development programs.

  • COPAL provides culturally grounded navigation and support services that connect new Americans to social services, health promotion, workforce readiness opportunities, education pathways and community-based resources.

  • Fe y Justicia provides culturally aligned health and housing support services tailored to the needs of new Americans. New Americans can also access food support at a distribution site.

  • Justice North is expanding and integrating legal, social and navigation services for new Americans across northern Minnesota. New Americans can also access food support at a distribution site.

  • Minnesota Council of Churches provides new Americans with comprehensive case management and resource navigation across four counties in southwest Minnesota. These services are delivered in partnership with local organizations to ensure coordinated referrals and access to additional resources. New Americans can also access food support at a distribution site.

  • Neighborhood House provides culturally responsive case management and navigation that connect new American families to food, housing stability, education, workforce readiness, youth and family supports and leadership development through coordinated, wraparound programming and community-based partnerships.   • VANSE is using in-person, mobile outreach and virtual platforms to offer Haitian Creole-language access to critical supports such as intake, needs assessment, case management, referrals, legal navigation, job readiness, healthcare access, ESL instruction and cultural orientation. New Americans can also access food support at a distribution site.
