Save the dates: 2026 Regional Exchanges!

The Age-Friendly Minnesota Council and our regional partners will host our third annual Regional Exchanges in October 2026. Join us to connect with communities, learn about the growing impact of Minnesota’s age-friendly ecosystem and collaborate to create a more age-inclusive future!

Day 1: Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026
Virtual, statewide event

Day 2: Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026
In-person, at five sites across the state:

  • Arrowhead: Chisholm, MN, at the Minnesota Discovery Center
  • Central: Sartell, MN, at the Sartell Community Center
  • Metro: Plymouth, MN, at the Plymouth Community Center
  • Northwest: Bemidji, MN, at Northwest Technical College
  • Southern: Mankato, MN, at VINE Faith in Action

Our regional and statewide partners include AARP Minnesota, Age-Friendly Freeborn County, Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging, Central Minnesota Council on Aging, Dancing Sky Area Agency on Aging, Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging, University of St. Thomas, and VINE Faith in Action. Regional Exchanges are free to attend.

2025 Regional Exchanges

In fall 2025, Age-Friendly Minnesota and its regional partners presented a second series of Regional Exchanges across the state to connect with communities, celebrate the age-friendly movement and discuss opportunities ahead. Around 330 cross-sector attendees gathered at the exchanges to learn, share and expand their networks.
