Long-term care needs are best met when they are planned for. Planning is important because there is a good chance you will need long-term care at some point in the future. Planning for long-term care in a crisis often turns out badly. Decisions must often be made quickly without enough information, and you may end up living in a place you don't like for the rest of your life.
