Doula Resources and MN–ITS Training

In this training, you will learn how to:

• Navigate the MHCP provider webpages to understand the following:
  • Provider tools and resources
  • MHCP basic provider requirements
  • MHCP programs and services
  • MHCP relationship with managed care organizations
  • MHCP billing policy overview
  • Doula provider manual
• Use MN–ITS for the following:
  • Administration user levels
  • Verify member eligibility
  • Access your MN–ITS mailbox
  • Retrieve and read your remittance advice
  • Submit an 837P professional claim for doula services
  • Copy, replace or void claims
  • Check a claim status

Sessions are available on the following dates from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include time for breaks and lunch. We will provide the same information on each of the following dates:

• Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024 – Register at Doula Resources and MN–ITS Training, Feb. 27.
• Tuesday, March 19, 2024 – Register at Doula Resources and MN–ITS Training, March 19.
• Tuesday, May 21, 2024 – Register at Doula Resources and MN–ITS Training, May 21.

Before you attend the webinar, you must have your MN–ITS username and password to access your MN–ITS account for this training. If you do not have a MN–ITS username or password, contact your organization’s MN–ITS administrator. If your organization has not yet registered for MN–ITS, use your MNITS Welcome letter to register and assign the delegated billing person a username and password before attending this training. Contact the MHCP Provider Resource Center if you need a copy of your letter.

We recommend providers attend the Provider Basics training offered monthly before attending this session.

You will receive an email with Webex information immediately after you register. Make sure you check your spam and junk folders when you look for this email. 

Participants will:

• Connect to the webinar from their own computers and do not need special hardware or software.
• Communicate with presenters and others in the audience using the chat feature available as part of the webinar session.
