State Quality Council

The Department of Human Services first convened the Minnesota State Quality Council in 2012, under Minn. Stat. §256B.097, to improve the quality of services for people with disabilities. Council members include people from stakeholder groups, including people with disabilities and their family members, service providers, lead agencies, advocacy organizations, Regional Quality Council representatives, Ombudsman for Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities, and DHS management. The council works to ensure a system that is person-centered and focuses on quality of services and support in the lives of people with disabilities.
