The Aging and Adult Services Division and the Minnesota Board on Aging offer online courses and training materials about how to better serve and support older adults, for staff from counties, tribal nations, managed care organizations, providers and other interested parties.
Adult Protection Training
The Adult Protection Unit within the Aging and Adult Services Division offers online training opportunities for Adult Protective Services (APS) professionals, mandated reporters and other interested parties.

Accessing Aging and Adult Services and Minnesota Board on Aging online courses in TrainLink
You must have a unique key to register and receive credit for training. If you do not have a unique key, complete the Unique Key Request Form.
Steps
- Go to the Older Adult Programs Learning Center in TrainLink.
- Select Sign On at upper right.
- Enter your unique key.
- Select Course Catalog Search.
- Search for the course by course title, course code, or category.
- Select the course from the search results.
- Select Start course.
