People who need help with Medicare costs
Medicare Savings Programs (MSP) help people who have low income pay the cost of their Medicare coverage.
Depending on which program you qualify for, it may pay your:
- Part B premium
- Part A premium, if any
- Medicare copays and deductibles
There are four different programs with specific rules for qualifying. Details about each program are in the Medicare Savings Programs brochures below.

Complete the Minnesota Health Care Programs Application for Certain Populations and return it to your county or Tribal office.
If you cannot print out the application, call your county or Tribal office and ask to have it mailed to you.
