Steps to renew your coverage
When your renewal date is approaching, follow these steps.
Get ready
Check eligibility requirements, know your renewal date and make sure your contact information is current so important time-sensitive material gets to you.
Watch for the circle in blue
Remember: “The circle in blue means it’s time to renew.” Watch your mail for an envelope with a blue dot. Once you receive it, get started right away.
Fill out your paperwork
Gather your documents and fill in the forms completely.
Return it on time
Be sure to return your renewal before your deadline to your county, tribal or state agency. See the County and Tribal directory. Once it’s done, relax and know you did it—hooray!
