Licensing

The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) and Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) license service providers and monitor and investigate their compliance with Minnesota laws and rules. Licensing protects the health, safety and rights of those receiving services by making sure providers meet minimum standards for care and a safe environment.
