You can be an important part of the treatment process for your family member or friend in the Minnesota Sex Offender Program. When you visit a client, you keep connections that can enhance his or her success in treatment.

Safety is a top priority
- Understand that people who have committed sexual offenses against people of all ages live at the facilities.
- Security measures are in place to safeguard the well-being of visitors, clients, staff and the community.
- Staff works hard to ensure your visit goes well.
Before you can visit you must be approved
- Complete the Visiting Application Form (PDF).
- Send the application form to the site you are visiting.
- Your application will be reviewed and processed.
- If you are approved, you will receive a written notification.
- Minor children who will not be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during a visit but who will be accompanied by an authorized adult MUST have a completed Minor Escort Authorization Form signed and dated by a parent or legal guardian.
