Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) health care text messaging program

English | Español | Lus Hmoob | Af Soomaali | Tiếng Việt | Pусский

Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) is offering one-way text messages for people enrolled in Medical Assistance (MA), MinnesotaCare, the Minnesota Family Planning Program, and Medicare Savings Programs.

These messages will include important health insurance eligibility information, such as reminders about deadlines or requests for information that county or tribal servicing agencies, or DHS, need to renew your health care insurance.

We will not ask for personal information and your participation in the text messaging program is voluntary. Choosing not to participate will not impact your eligibility.

We will send an initial opt-out text message to people who provided a valid cell phone number on their application for health care coverage. You may reply STOP to the initial message to opt out of receiving any more messages about your health insurance eligibility.
