EIDBI advisory group

The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) created an EIDBI advisory group in 2017. The group is made up of experts, parents, primary caregivers and people with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. The group helps DHS with ongoing development and implementation of the EIDBI benefit.

The Minnesota Legislature created the EIDBI benefit in 2013 (Minn. Stat. §256B.0949). The federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services approved Minnesota’s plan under the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment program
