Resolving problems if you are not in a health plan

People who are not in a health plan get their health care through fee-for-service. Fee-for-service means that you can get care from a health care provider who accepts Medical Assistance (MA). File an appeal with the state

If the Minnesota Department of Human Services makes a decision about payment or authorization of a particular service and you disagree with the decision, you can appeal. You must appeal in writing.
