The dental program covers most dental procedures including cleaning, fillings, x-rays, routine maintenance and dentures. Some procedures are not covered, such as dental implants, braces and gold crowns. If you have a question about what services are covered, call Program HH Customer Care at 651-431-2398.

As long as the service you need is covered by Program HH, you should have no out-of-pocket expenses for your dental treatment. If you have private dental insurance and the procedure you have done is covered by Program HH, Program HH will pick up your co-pays or deductibles.

You must use a Minnesota Health Care Program dentist to provide any work through your Program HH dental benefits. You can find a list of dental providers by visiting the DHS public Web pages or you can call Program HH Customer Care at 651-431-2398 for help locating a provider in your area. You can also get help through the Minnesota AIDS Project AIDS Line by calling 612-373-2437 or 800-248-2437.

When you talk to the dentist you can tell them that you have Program HH dental benefits. You can tell them that Program HH is a state health care program. Give them your eight-digit program number.

If the provider doesn't know about Program HH or what services you can receive, ask them to call Program HH Customer Care at 651-431-2398. Program HH Customer Care can answer any questions about your benefits.
