Child support: Policies and procedures for community partners

Child support community partners include a broad range of community and public agencies that serve our mutual clients. Community partners play an important role in Minnesota's child support efforts, helping people find the resources they need to be self-sufficient. Cooperation between partners and child support agencies encourages clients to actively participate in their cases, and that results in helping families provide for their children.

The Minnesota Department of Human Services Child Support Worker Desk Reference, DHS-5202 (PDF) helps professionals and service providers. This document contains phone numbers and websites that link to information and resources to help community partners and their clients solve child support problems. It also provides a list of printed and online forms and brochures about child support available from the department.

Resources to support families are important. Links on this page provide child support information for community partners. The information is not a substitute for legal advice.
