Therapeutic area - Anti-Nausea/Appetite Stimulant

Approval criteria

• Patient has nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy and has failed to respond adequately to conventional antiemetic treatments such as: ondansetron, promethazine,granisetron, prochloroperazine, scopalamine, meclizine OR
• Patient has a diagnosis of cystic fibrosis OR
• Patient has a diagnosis of acquired immune deficiency (AIDS) or HIV AND
• Patient has anorexia associated weight loss

Quantity limit

• 2.5 mg = 272
• 5 mg = 136
• 10 mg = 136
